About Us
Who We Are
At Mary’s Learning Academy, we believe childhood should feel joyful, safe, and full of possibility. Our program blends high‑quality early learning with a warm, family‑centered environment where every child is seen, supported, and celebrated.
Our educators are passionate, experienced, and committed to nurturing each child’s natural curiosity. We focus on whole‑child development—social, emotional, cognitive, and creative—so children grow with confidence and a strong foundation for school and life.
Families choose us because they feel the difference the moment they walk in: the warmth, the energy, the intentionality, and the genuine love for children. This is a place where learning feels like home.

Our Story
My Mother, Mary: The Heart Behind the Academy
At Mary’s Learning Academy (MLA), we believe that the first years of a child’s life are sacred. Our foundation isn’t built on a business plan; it’s built on a legacy of unconditional love, patience, and the innate wisdom of one extraordinary woman: my mother, Mary Logue.
Growing up, our home was more than just a house; it was an open-door sanctuary.
My mother didn’t need a degree in early childhood development to understand nurturing; she embodied it. From a young age, caregiving was her calling—a calling that eventually led her to become a dedicated nurse, always putting the welfare of others first. Her spirit of gentle care was the blueprint for my own journey as an elementary school teacher.
I loved the energy of older students, sharing my classroom stories with my mother as her world began to dim with advancing blindness. Yet, amidst the bustle of standardized tests and curriculum maps, I felt a pull back to the earliest years—to that magical, vulnerable time my mother had navigated so beautifully. I yearned to build a place where learning wasn’t measured by scores, but by the joy of discovery, the triumph of a shared toy, and the security of a consistent, caring presence.
When my mother passed away in 2005, the purpose of that yearning became clear. The name for my childcare center was never in question. Mary’s Learning Academy is a living tribute to her spirit. When you walk through our doors, you are walking into her legacy. Her essence is woven into the fabric of every day with every gentle diaper change, every circle time song, and every story we share. Since our first enrollment in 2015, my drive has been singular—to create a place where she would be proud.
